Deleuze said that what prevents life from flowing is language and moral judgment. Our language is one of being, of identity, of fixed contours. But art is capable of expressing relationships beyond language, allowing us to communicate in another way. It opens itself to what crosses through, to what changes, by allowing itself to be affected. In contagion, there is fusion and the possibility for something new to emerge. 

To define a body by its belonging to a species is to limit it, but we can speak of the affects it is capable of, and of the mobile boundaries of its territory. We can learn what a body can do through its experience. 

I’m obsessed with the idea of interpreting the body’s potency in its becoming, its capacity for transformation, for resistance, and for surrender. It is not just about representing bodies, but about letting images become the space in which they unfold, where their strength, fragility, and ability to fictionalize and reinvent themselves can become visible. 

Each image is a threshold, a zone of passage through which to explore the relationship between body and identity. The body is a mutable territory, reconfigured with each encounter, each experience, each boundary crossed. 

I’m interested in confronting different materials, generating volumes, printing and re-photographing, intervening in the primary representation, to challenge rigid categories and open up the possibility for new narratives around the body. 

Nudity is represented as a space of self-knowledge, a gesture of resistance, and an affirmation of the body’s power, between the intimate and the political, between flesh and its representation.
